Brand Profile: Cut-Out
Started in Summer 2009 by Kay Stanley and releasing the first proper collection Spring/Summer 2009, Cut-Out is an independent DIY print studio, designing, making and selling clothing and jewelery amongs other things. Cut-Out products can be purchased from www.cutoutshop.com and are currently stocked at the Here Shop and Gallery; (Bristol), Here and Now; (Falmouth), Kate&Tristan; (London) and Mouldy Loaf; (Birmingham).
In addition, Kay Stanley caters for commissions, printing merchadise for many bands around the UK, quickly gaining a well-respected reputation for both DIY ethics and well-printed products. Collaborating with many artists and designers, Cut-Out’s Autumn/Winter ‘09 collection plans to feature designs by illustrators Lee Nutland and Aaron Miller.
