An educational opportunity, furthering the careers of Los Angeles’ FashionistasSchool of Style is the first and only school in Los Angeles that specializes in wardrobe styling—offering a series of intensive workshops, seminars and on-the-job trainings that are focused on the business of fashion styling. Founder and facilitator, Luke Storey, is a Photo[genics/Smashbox Studios stylist with ten years experience. His celebrity clientele includes Marilyn Manson, Kanye West, Foo Fighters, No Doubt and TV on the Radio. In addition, Luke has appeared on TV shows such as The Hills, America’s Most Smartest Model and Glam God.
With popularity of celebrity stylists like Luke Storey, the career is sought after by fashionistas across the nation. However many of the accredited fashion schools do not offer a curriculum for a styling-specific profession; and are very expensive for degree programs making the career choice an unobtainable dream for many.
School of Style provides an opportunity to learn how to operate as a professional fashion/wardrobe stylist specifically. The curriculum covers the smallest details to the broadest scope of the business. The program is a total of three full days ranging from 8-10 hours a day. Class times typically are not consecutive which allows the student to complete the program at their own pace—(or as time and money allows).
The School of Style classroom is facilitated at the world famous Smashbox Studios in West Hollywood. This innovative school has limited seating and is offered at scheduled times throughout each month. The next “Day One” classroom seminar is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2009.
