Buddy Hanley, John Cunningham, and Matt Taylor are the co-founders and co-owners of No R Lifestyle. Based in Medford, MA, the brand is inspired by the Boston “No R” accent and represents the lifestyle that the founders lead. No R Lifestyle was created to instill pride in the accent that is heard throughout New England, and targets and audience of anybody who is from, has lived in, or has visited the area (or just loves the Boston accent!).
In an effort to keep costs as low as possible, No R Lifestyle has kept everything “in-house”, including their grassroots marketing efforts. They have successfully given apparel to a number of Boston celebrities such as Jason Bay, Mike Lowell, Eliza Dushku, and Jay Leno. Jay Leno actually called the company to give them his personal thanks for the shirts, and informed them that the brand was a great idea.
