Meeting in high school back home in Essex, the three featured in multiple bands together before all moving on to university. Now either graduates or entering their final year, time is dedicated to conceptualising and producing clothing that they feel is missing from the market. Constantly thinking of new designs, our collaborations with designers ensure that Confound is a real team effort.

Recognising their market as nothing less than competitive, the three boysbehind Confound are striving to stand out from the crowd. Having previously united their creativity through music, the calls of higher education conspired to move them to opposite ends of the country. However, whilst the logistics of band practice were complicated, the desire to work together in the creation of something big remained simple. Born from this desire was Confound, a clothing company where the sky is the limit…

Working through telephones, emails, and a certain popular social networking site, the first Confound line was actually prepared with minimal personal interaction. But don’t let this fool you into thinking this is a time filler that has been thrown together with little thought. Time is taken with every decision in a bid to provide you with the best clothes possible, and thus make Confound the best company possible.…

Confound The Critics… Confound Your Friends…

Check Your Six, started in 2008, is an upcoming Midwest-based company that provides our own, unique interpretation on an industry that often falls into cliches and stagnation. Through bold graphics and mature designs, we create products with a strong focus on controversy, uniqueness, ironic humor, and everything in between.

Check Your Six is a military term derived from air combat in World War II, meaning literally ‘watch your back.’ This idea is reflected in many of our designs, sometimes as blatant as pure representations of the term, other times through abstract allusions to the idea. Combining this unique theme with diverse artistic execution has helped create a clothing line that holds true to Check Your Six’s creative vision and resonated well with consumers.

New Balance taps its strong running heritage with the reissue of the New Balance 205 the racing shoe, named in honor of US Marathoner Khalid Khannouchi’s then world record of 2:05:42 set in the Chicago Marathon in 1999. Khalid later wore the RC205WR when he bettered his time to 2:05:38 during the 2002 London Marathon.

This time still stands as an American Record for the 26.2 mile distance. At 7.8 ounces, the 205 provides comfort and exceptional fit in a sleek, contoured design. Originally designed as the most premium racing sneaker of the era, the 205 featured New Balance’s most advanced running technology.

The reissued New Balance 205 will feature a Masai tribal shield in honor of the Kenyan athletes representing New Balance to victory in the 2003 and 2004 Boston, Chicago, and London marathons.

Inchwear is an apparel company that sells, at retail, T-shirts, underwear, headwear, and swimwear. The company is designed for the self-confident male to humorously promote their manhood. Each product will either contain a number or phrase for the purposes of self-expression.

The purpose of the company is for guys to wear apparel who crave attention from their circles of relationships. Our goal is to erase wonder from the world. Let everyone discover how you really measure up! You will get attention, and yes sometimes that attention will not be good.

Some spectators will shake their heads in disbelief. Others will laugh…with you of course. Some members of authority will punish you for wearing such apparel. It’s all- good. Time to size-up! Let them know where you hang…I mean stand, and be proud! You are a man. Real men show their size!

RISE Worldwide x Trousers London “Mosaic” tee, Two of the UK’s most exciting brands RISE Worldwide have come together on a project to produce the MOSAIC tee. Using the RISE text logo as a template, Trousers London were given the opportunity to add their unique creative twist to the garment.

Inspired by the bright pocket linings and premium materials used on all Trousers London garments, the project produced a 3 colour print which referenced ancient Roman patterning. With RISE looking ahead to a UK highstreet launch this coming spring ‘10, the collaboration provided an alternate production route than the fully cut and sew garments that will be released within the next few months.

The MOSAIC tee is printed on a unique t-shirt made from organic cotton / bamboo mix producing a unique handfeel to the garment, and the printing method uses organic waterbased inks. The images below were taken from the Trousers London “DENIM GARDEN” pop up store which was present through London Fashion Week, where the collaboration was debuted! With a limited run of only 25 in existence, these will be snapped up fast!

They are available now through the Trousers London webstore http://www.shop.trouserslondon.co.uk/upperwear/rise).

Starting from today, giuliano Fujiwara makes its debut in the e-commerce world on thecorner.com. giuliano Fujiwara’s “mini-store” focuses on the Spring/Summer 2010 collection, which is based on defined shapes: the image is strong, definitely masculine, simple yet rich of details, mainly military inspired.

As well as apparel, accessories and footwear, the collection includes a limited edition t-shirt, especially designed by giuliano Fujiwara to launch its news area on thecorner.com.

The white cotton t-shirt is decorated with tiny sketches of geometrical shapes, which seem to flow like on the screen of a video-game and recall the necklaces with cubes and wire from Spring/Summer 2010. On the occasion of this debut, thecorner.com features an exclusive video-interview to Masataka Matsumura, where he says: “Internet for me doesn’t represent the future anymore, it is rather a more and more consistent portion of our current time. For this reason I have chosen thecorner.com for my e-commerce debut because I have recognized in YOOX Group an ideal partner, the perfect interpreter of giuliano Fujiwara’s values and spirit.

I particularly appreciate such a dynamic and expanding commercial reality that can mix an international vocation with its Italian nature. I see this is an important quality as I feel a strong personal and professional bond with this country.”

‘Skeg’ is an independent streetwear company based in Australia. What is Skeg? This is it. 1979, another hot summer’s day; friends are chilling out, smoking, drinking and skating. Music’s playing loud from the tape deck but it’s almost inaudible over the sound of wheels clanging against the pool side.

A condemned house has been broken into, graffiti added to the already paint laden pool-inside; all of this for the sole purpose of skate. It’s all been done: aerials, variables, kickflips, manuals, ollies and end-overs.

We’re here to create our own style, do our own thing. Countless hours of this day have already been well-spent. Trends change, but sometimes they are something more. Skate – it’s a fucking lifestyle.

Skeg is an independent street wear brand that verifies and solidifies self expression, producing threads for people that appreciate fashion with reason and meaning. Nested in the subculture of skate and punk, the term ‘Skeg’ defines a single skater. However ‘Skeg’ is more than just a slang term to describe a skater but rather a movement and a way of life.

Press Release 02.09.2010 –

New Balance, one of the world’s leading running brands, announces the opening of its first Experience Store on Shanghai’s Huai Hai Road. It is New Balance’s second Experience Store in China, following the opening of its first on Beijing’s Qianmen Avenue last year. Senior executives from the company, including Regional General Manager, Asia Pacific, Darren Tucker, and China Managing Director, Michael Wellman, attended the grand opening to witness this exciting event. “Our goal is to produce the best quality and most comfortable running shoes for our consumers,” explains Darren Tucker, Regional General Manager, and Asia Pacific. Proudly expressing the business philosophy of New Balance, the century-old American sporting brand, he continued, “New Balance sets a new standard of retail excellence within the global marketplace to celebrate our innovation and pay tribute to our heritage. We hope that consumers will engage with our rich brand story that is 104 years in the making.”

The New Balance Experience Store in Shanghai is designed such that a panoramic view of the ceiling unfurls the brand’s past, present and future, telling Shanghai the magnificent story of New Balance’s one hundred and four year history in making shoes. It displays New Balance’s entire product line: sports footwear, apparel and a variety of sports accessories, available for all seasons and for men, women and kids, bringing the complete New Balance experience to consumers.

With the opening of this new store in Shanghai and the projected opening of ten more experience stores in major cities across China, New Balance is hoping to bring the idea of running culture to China and will be holding a New Balance “6km Run” in six of China’s major cities.

BadAsHellClothing.com is a fairly new, but fast growing t-shirt company striving to reinvigorate the current crowd sourcing tee shirt phenom. We’re here to get all niche like and bring a few specific styles of art, Our goal is to foster a close-knit community of artists, where designers will specialize in submitting the Unapologetic, Psychedelic, BOLD, AvantGarde, and of course Quality Artsy type designs from around the world.

We offer the chance for artists and the community to interact and inspire each other to really push themselves to develop their respective styles. The idea for our website was born from a mutual recognition that most of these t-shirt sites are taking a very broad approach on their art styles and will practically sell any design that’s thrown their way.

It seems that our competitors’ philosophy is one that heavily emphasizes quantity rather than quality. We are here to specialize in a small sect, and we know what makes a really great t-shirt is great art! So join out site, submit a tee shirt design, rate or buy a tee!

Or if you’re interested in setting up a promotional event with our
community of artists, don’t hesitate to contact us directly

Me&Yu is an independent streetwear fashion label from Manchester UK

Me&Yu’s roots stretch back to 2003 in Australia when Angie and Gordon were in Sydney. They began making hand printed clothing to sell on the craft stalls in Sydney and on their return to the UK, decided to turn their hobby into a business.

Me&Yu is a young brand, specialising in hand-made and hand-printed clothes which customers love to wear. Me&Yu creates both menswear and womenswear and concentrates on handprinted t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and t-shirt dresses. Me&Yu’s target audience is an extremely broad one and simply attracts anyone who like to dress a bit differently. Stocked in a small number of boutiques across the country. They have just completed a huge order for River Island menswear – which is available online now.

A/W Collection “A Day at the Zoo” is in store now and the up and coming S/S Collection is called “Me&Yu Takes A Trip” – inspired by 60′s psychedelic prints and graphics and featuring Me&Yu signature hand-drawn prints and text illustrations with photo transfers. It’s hard to pin down exact inspiration for their collections as it is taken from a variety of subjects from Japenese street style to going on a day trip to the zoo.

Me&Yu has a small shop in Afflecks in the Northern Quarter of Manchester and celebrities such as Agyness Deyn, Noel Fielding and Manchester band Kid British have worn Me&Yu.
