<p> RISE Worldwide x Trousers London “Mosaic” tee,  Two of the UK’s most exciting brands RISE Worldwide  have come together on a project to produce the MOSAIC tee. Using the RISE text logo as a template, Trousers London were given the opportunity to add their unique creative twist to the garment.</p>

<p>Inspired by the bright pocket linings and premium materials used on all Trousers London garments, the project produced a 3 colour print which referenced ancient Roman patterning. With RISE looking ahead to a UK highstreet launch this coming spring ‘10, the collaboration provided an alternate production route than the fully cut and sew garments that will be released within the next few months.</p>

<p>The MOSAIC tee is printed on a unique t-shirt made from organic cotton / bamboo mix producing a unique handfeel to the garment, and the printing method uses organic waterbased inks. The images below were taken from the Trousers London “DENIM GARDEN” pop up store which was present through London Fashion Week, where the collaboration was debuted! With a limited run of only 25 in existence, these will be snapped up fast!</p>

It is New Balance’s second Experience Store in China, following the opening of its first on Beijing’s Qianmen Avenue last year. Senior executives from the company, including Regional General Manager, Asia Pacific, Darren Tucker, and China Managing Director, Michael Wellman, attended the grand opening to witness this exciting event. “Our goal is to produce the best quality and most comfortable running shoes for our consumers,” explains Darren Tucker, Regional General Manager, and Asia Pacific. <p>Me&amp;Yu&#8217;s roots stretch back to 2003 in Australia when Angie and Gordon were in Sydney. They began making hand printed clothing to sell on the craft stalls in Sydney and on their return to the UK, decided to turn their hobby into a business.</p>
<p>Me&amp;Yu is a young brand, specialising in hand-made and hand-printed clothes which customers love to wear. Me&amp;Yu creates both menswear and womenswear and concentrates on handprinted t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and t-shirt dresses. Me&amp;Yu&#8217;s target audience is an extremely broad one and simply attracts anyone who like to dress a bit differently. Stocked in a small number of boutiques across the country. They have just completed a huge order for River Island menswear &#8211; which is available online now.</p>

<p>A/W Collection &#8220;A Day at the Zoo&#8221; is in store now and the up and coming S/S Collection is called &#8220;Me&amp;Yu Takes A Trip&#8221; &#8211; inspired by 60&#8217;s psychedelic prints and graphics and featuring Me&amp;Yu signature hand-drawn prints and text illustrations with photo transfers. It&#8217;s hard to pin down exact inspiration for their collections as it is taken from a variety of subjects from Japenese street style to going on a day trip to the zoo.</p>
<p>Me&amp;Yu has a small shop in Afflecks in the Northern Quarter of Manchester and celebrities such as Agyness Deyn, Noel Fielding and Manchester band Kid British have worn Me&amp;Yu.</p>

It was founded by Tim Toomey and Craig Kaplowitz in February of 2008, and has since then expanded into being a content provider as well as an apparel company. On their <a title="blog" href="http://www.assaultblog.com" target="_blank">blog</a>, Assault covers music/design/apparel updates and are constantly posting interviews and reviews of new music/bands that they find interesting.</p>
<p>Assault was started out of Tim&#8217;s apartment in Chicago, and the shirts are stored in Craig&#8217;s spare room at his house. What separates the brand from many others is that almost all of their shirts have some sort of social or political message behind them (women&#8217;s rights, equal rights for gays/lesbians, etc.).</p>
<blockquote><p>Most importantly to us, we wanted the messages behind our shirts to be subtle, and not too, &#8220;in your face&#8221; as some political based messages have a tendency to be. After all, no one listens to the guy on the street corner with the megaphone pushing his views onto everyone else. Our target demographic is primarily social/politically aware or active young people between the ages of 15 and 35&#8211;both male and female, and we&#8217;ve found that that primarily revolves around people who also have a passion for music which is why our blog focuses on music and musicians.</p>

<p><a title="DOXA" href="http://www.doxagarments.com" target="_blank">DOXA</a> was birthed in the summer of 2008 when Roman Kovalchuk and Chris Howland discovered one another&#8217;s mutual appreciation for clothing. The two guys from Jersey &#8211; a pastor/car enthusiast and a musician/skateboarder, wanted to make their dent in the world, by showing people that everyone has an enormous amount of potential and purpose in them. Further discussion led to the idea that clothing is in fact powerful. The two saw that clothing held the potential to be more than just decorative, but in fact influential and thought-provoking.</p>
<p>&#8220;We saw that clothing possessed the potential the express ideas and challenge/shape culture. So after some prayerful consideration, the decision was made to pool resources and begin the company: DOXA. (The word DOXA is actually the greek word for &#8216;Glory&#8217;, and can be defined as opinion/view in addition to splendor/brightness).&#8221;</p>
<p>Inspired by God, people, changing their culture, and positive thinking, DOXA strives to express their message through the medium of t-shirts &#8211; encouraging people everywhere to pursue their purpose.</p>

The underwear are boyshort-style and have been appropriately coined &#8220;soyshirts&#8221;.</p>
<p>&#8220;The idea for Uranus Apparel has developed by two University of Florida students, who sought to create a product that would promote sustainability with a sense of humor. Despite the funny name, the company is seriously committed to utilizing soy as a more sustainable alternative to cotton fiber&#8221; said Natalie San Andres, company co-founder.</p>
<p>Soy is a fantastic alternative fabric choice because it is manufactured from the by-products of soy food production like tofu and soybean oil. This process uses materials that would otherwise be considered waste, thus &#8220;closing the loop&#8221; on soy. Besides contributing to a more sustainable planet, soy fabric is also extremely soft and comfortable, often being compared to silk or cashmere. It is also more durable and dries more quickly than cotton.</p>
<p>Uranus Apparel soyshorts are sold in sets of three &#8211; one pair natural beige, one pair moss green, and one pair black. The underwear come packaged in a burlap drawstring pouch that is both reusable and 100% biodegradable. The set can be purchased on the company&#8217;s website or through Amazon. The founders are exploring additional marketing venues.</p>
